Calling and responding to team meetings
Call a focused care-team meeting, collect attendance responses and keep the date, link, roles and agenda current for the invited people.
Who this article is for
Care-team members who organise or attend team meetings
Where to find it
- Open Team meetings from the care-team workspace or relevant dashboard control.
- The meetings panel opens to the meeting list; choose a meeting to see details and respond.
Call a team meeting
- 1
Name the meeting
Enter a clear purpose, then choose the meeting date and an optional time.
- 2
Choose attendees
Invite the active team members who need to attend. At least one attendee is required.
- 3
Add the meeting details
Optionally add a meeting link, chairperson, note taker and agenda.
- 4
Create the meeting
Kinovo records each invitee as pending and sends the relevant meeting notifications.
Meetings for the whole team
When every active team member is selected, Kinovo treats the meeting as a whole-team meeting. New active members who join before the scheduled meeting are added automatically and need to respond.
For a deliberately selected attendee list, new members are not added automatically.
Respond to an invitation
Open the meeting and choose I will be there or Decline. After a successful response, Kinovo confirms it and returns to the meeting list. Attendance labels show Invited, Will attend or Declined.
Edit a scheduled meeting
The Team leader, the caller and anybody with permission to call team meetings can update a scheduled meeting. They can change the date, time, link, agenda, chairperson, note taker and invited people, even if they were not the original creator.
Kinovo shows the weekday as well as the full date and time so the schedule is easy to scan.
Use meetings for decisions, not every update
- Put a focused purpose in the meeting name and agenda.
- Use tasks for actions agreed in the meeting so ownership remains visible.
- Use messages for ordinary coordination between meetings.
- Do not rely on a Kinovo meeting invitation for urgent or emergency communication.
